Closed Door Gigs

In Step 2 of the Government COVID 19 plan, starting in June, it is proposed to allow cultural and sporting events to take place behind closed-doors to enable the events to be broadcast online. We plan to record a gig with stage lighting and a full band performance and show the event online. The only people in the building will be the band/crew and social distancing will be applied along with high levels of equipment cleaning. Hand sanitiser and masks will be provided. Get Known will be contacting bands in the next few weeks to set the line-up.

Landslide is providing a mobile stage and bands for a tribute event. The video opposite shows a previous tribute event they ran, Dolly’s Backyard Jam. We are excited to be working with them on this event in September and our team will work to make it a successful event.

We operated a local festival combining skateboarding, BMX and music at Brentwood King Georges Park including Brentwood skatepark on Saturday 13th August 2016. 15 emerging bands and artists played on two stages alongside skateboarding and BMX displays and competitions running throughout the day with over 1,000 people attending. We have now secured funding from Youth Music to continue Landslide events in 2019.
The line up was Superglu, Shooty and the Bang Bang, Vera Lones, Harper, Connor Ryan Adams, Duchess Grey, Off the Wall, Safe Side, James Burrage, Drive, Polly Haynes, Marc Halls, Kid Mojo and Silent Divide.
